Description: Unicell surrounded by a hyaline lorica, rounded in front but flattened and wedge-shaped posteriorly. Protoplast has one emergent flagellum, 2 chloroplasts, no stigma. Reproduction and stomatocysts not observed. Marine, in sediments.Only known from Woods Hole, USA.
