Description: Cellulae binae (raro singulae sive quaternae) in tegumento mucoso, late ellipsoideo, marginibus distinctis inclusae, coenobia libere natanta formantes. Ex cellula duo flagelli mucosi (pseudoflagelli) tegumentum mucosum perforantes. Duo sive quattuor coenobia intra tegumenta communia in syncoenobia saepe composita. Membrana cellulae delicatissima. Cytioplasma ad polum insertionis pseudoflagellorum granulosum. Chromatophora viridis, parietalis, nucleo amylaceo instructa. Propagatio divisione cellularum, cetera incognita.
