Description: Medium-sized (50 µm) ovoid flagellate with a conspicuous list at the ventral side which extends antapically over the cell body. The very small epicone is hidden by the epithecal cingular lists. Plate formula and pattern unknown. Theca finely, deeply and regularly areolate. Cell contents not described, but phaeosomes are reported from the girdle list. Only one specimen known, the genus needs reinvestigation. Sexual reproduction and cyst formation not known. Marine plankton, known only from the tropical Pacific.
