Description: Thallus blue-green. Filaments straight, curved, or entangled, without branching. Trichomes uniseriate, cylindrical. Sheaths thin, colorless, fibrous monolayer. Cells longer than wide, cylindrical, distinctly constricted at the cross wall, not attenuated at the ends. Apical cells rounded.
