Description: Dinoflagellate unarmored, consisting of small episome and large hyposome; episome rounded with longitudinal furrow on ventral surface, almost embedded in hyposome; chloroplasts many, with one or more pyrenoids; sulcus short, shallow, situating in center of cell.
