Type locality: "Habitat in lacuna ostii fluvii Umkantzi in colonia provinciae Capensis Kidd's Beach dicta in Africa Meridionale." [South Africa]; (Giffen 1967: 254) Notes: "Typus: praeparatum No. 165 in collectione GIFFEN, Fort Hare, provincia Capensis. Iconotypus: figurae nostrae No. 19 et 20."

Adjective (Latin), very fine (Lewis & Short 1890).
