Type Information
Type locality: "Iaponia: Textor" [Japan: collected by C.J. Textor]; (Index Nominum Algarum) "Lectotype": C.J. Textor; L; sheet No 943.85.36 (Shibneva et al. 2020: 76) Notes: The selection of a lectotype is not effective since the words "here designated" are not used. There is no explanation as to why a lectotype is necessary since only one collection is mentioned by Suringar.
