The type species (holotype) of the genus Delphineis is Delphineis angustata (Pantocsek) G.W.Andrews.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Neodelphineis silenda (M.H.Hohn & J.Hellerman) N.Desianti & M.Potapova.
