Description
Dioecious. Cortex 2-cort., tylacanthous, spine cells solitary, acute. Stipulodes 1-2x branchlats in number, developed. Segments 3-4, bract cells 4-5, developed. Oogonia solitary at branchlet 1st nodes. Male plants unknown.
