This is a marine species.
Holotype locality: north of Deep Bay, Atka Island, Aleutian Islands, Alaska (Lindstrom et al. 2011: 672). Holotype: Fig. 3 (left specimen): Mandy R. Lindeberg (ALEUT07_387); 15 July 2007; high intertidal bedrock. UBC A88537 (Lindstrom et al. 2011: 672).
