This is a marine species.
Holotype locality: 'Mussel Rock', Cape Mendocino, Humboldt County, California (Lindstrom et al. 2011: 679). Holotype: Fig. 19 (leftmost specimen): S.C. Lindstrom (SCL 13349); 8 April 2008; low intertidal boulder, ~0.3 m above MLLW. UBC A88483 (Lindstrom et al. 2011: 679).
