Type locality: 'In scaturigine perlaria (Zhenzhuquan) ad Yuquansi in Dangyang Xian, Hubei' [China] (Dewar 1956: 277). Type: Shi Zhi-xin; June 15, 1981; 20.7°C; pH 6. HP 7138 (Shi 1994: 277).
