This is a marine species.
Type locality: Western Australia (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 370). Lectotype: Preiss; MEL 504193 (Womersley 1996: 75). Notes: Womersley (1996: 75) notes that the lectotype was first published by Millar (1990: 367).
