Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Halamphora cymbifera var. heritierarum (Wachnicka & Gaiser) J.G.Stepanek & Kociolek.
Type Information
Type locality: dwarf Red Mango forest along the Biscayne Bay coast, between Mowry and Military Canals, Southeast Florida, U.S.A. (25°28'24.3"N, 80°20'45.8"W); (Wachnicka & Gaiser 2007: 394) Holotype: growing on periphyton mats and artificial substrata; ANSP; slide ANSP G.C 5804 (Wachnicka & Gaiser 2007: 394, fig. 7) Notes: Isotype: Slide CAS 222015.
