Holotype: 16 December 2010; Laboratory of microalgae, School of Lif Science, South ChinaNormal Univ. Museum No. MD1 (fixed sample of strain DY6) (Li et al. 2013: 601). Notes: Isotypes (fixed samples of strain DY6): C2585 (vegetative cells) and C2586 (resting spores). GenBank accession: KC840041.
