Type locality: Lewes-Rehoboth Canal, Sussex Co., Delaware; (Desianti, Potapova & Beals 2015: 100, table 1) Lectotype: fig. 29: 6 October 1953; 6000 yards up the canal from outfall ditch of sewage of Lewes; scraped from mud; ANSP; specimen located 17.3 mm east and 3.1 mm south of the benchmark circle on slide ANSP GC44909 (Desianti, Potapova & Beals 2015: 100, table 1)
