Type locality: Ocean Beach, Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia (Woelkerling et al. 2005: 96). Lectotype: Gabriel; 1905; no habitat given. TRH A12-626 (Woelkerling et al. 2005: 96). Notes: "Slide 961, reported missing by Woelkerling 1993: 92 was found in Drawer A28 during the present study." (Woelkering et al. 2005: 96).
