Type locality: New Holland (Western Australia); (Silva & al. 1996: 489) Holotype: Péron; BM; (Womersley 2003: 345) Notes: This type locality was first recorded by C. Agardh (1822: 373). Type from “Coast of New Holland” (Péron): probably from SE Australia ; holotype in BM, illustrated by Turner (Womersley, 2003: 345).
