Lectotype locality: Falkland Islands (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 552). Lectotype : PC (Womersley 2003: 369). Notes: This type locality was first recorded by Post (1936: 36, 40). Collector: Durville and Lesson (INA).

Adjective (Latin), entangled (Stearn 1973).
