Type information
Type locality: not specified ("Ad Novam Hollandiam” ) (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 659). Notes: Silva et al. (1996) recommmend consulting C. Agardh (1824: 304) for more information on the type locality of this species. According to Tseng & Lu (1992: 17) the type locality is Singapore.
