Lectotype locality: Western Australia (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 645). Type: Preiss; Herb. Agardh, LD 1023 (Womersley 1987: 382). Notes: Silva et al. (1996) recommend consulting Womersley (1964: 76) for more information on the lectotype location of this species.
