Lectotype locality: Pulau Sailus-besar, Paternoster Islands (Kepulauan Tengah), Indonesia; (Silva & al. 1996: 278) Lectotype: A. Weber-van Bosse; 17-18.ii.1900; no habitat data on type; L; 935.207-13 (Woelkerling 1998: 287) Notes: This type locality was first recorded by Adey & Lebednik (1967: 85) and Verheij & Woelkerling (1992: 288).
Paratype: PC, General Herbarium box collection (non-fossil; filed in non-geniculate coralline type collections cabinet under basionym. Isolectotype at TRH C19-3433.
