Lectotype locality: Friday Harbor, Washington, U.S.A. (Athanasiadis 1996: 61). Lectotype: H. Kylin; July 1922; dredged at 5-10 fathoms. GB sine numero (Athanasiadis 1996: 61). Notes: Athanasiadis (1996: 61) has selected Friday Harbor as the type locality from amongst the syntype localities.
