Ad Hammerhuus Bornholmiae" [Quivig, Faeroe Islands and Bornholm, Denmark]; (Lyngbye 1819: 74) Type: C; (Womersley 1987: 295) Notes: Womersley (1987: 295) gives the following data: Type from Quivig, Faroe Is; in Herb Lyngbye, C, which could constitute a lectotypification.

Origin of Species Name
Adjective (Latin), a thread (Stearn 1973).
