Type locality: "Japan" (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 93). Lectotype: S (Sutherland et al. 2011: 1145). Notes: Syntype in UPS. Kurogi lectotypified the species with a specimen in S in 1985 (Sutherland et al. 2011: 1145).
