Lectotype locality: Massanah, Red Sea [Massawa, Eritrea] (Basso et al.: 186). Lectotype: Levander; 1894-1895; TRH A20-1279 (Woelkerling 1993: 21). Notes: Type is illustrated by Basso et al. (2015: fig. 2A-C).
