Type locality: "Grahamstown" [probably near Port Alfred, Cape Province], South Africa (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 256). Holotype: Becker; v.1899; no habitat data on type. TRH B17-2591 (Woelkerling et al. 2005: 348). Notes: This type locality was first recorded by Foslie (1929: 46).
