Type locality: Pennington Bay, Kangaroo I., South Australia (Womersley 1998: 255). Holotype: Kraft & Min Thein; 3 December 1971; AD A41394 (Womersley 1998: 255). Notes: Womersly (1998: 255) notes that the type specimen was collected from drift.
