Type locality: "Ad oras novae Hollandiae" (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 304). Holotype: PC “No. 21” (Womersley 1994: 441). Notes: Womersley (1994: 441) notes that there is a fragment of the type in Herb. Agardh, LD (27514).
