Lectotype locality: King George Sound, Western Australia (Womersley 1996: 77). Lectotype: Harvey; TCD Alg. Aust. Exsicc. 381B (Womersley 1996: 77). Notes: Syntype localities: west and south coasts of Australia, Tasmania (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 369). Chapman (1979:415) cites "Georgetown, Tasmania" as the type locality.
