The type species (holotype) of the genus Chamaedoris is Chamaedoris annulata Montagne.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Struvea okamurae Leliaert.

Type locality: Kotosho (Hung-t’ou), Taiwan; (Silva, Meñez & Moe 1987) Holotype: Segawa; Okamura herbarium, SAP; (Leliaert & al. 2007: 720) Notes: Island of Kotosho (Botel Tabago Island).
