This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Gomphadelpha trullata (Kociolek & Stoermer) R.Jahn & N.Abarca.

Type locality: U.S.A., Oregon, Lane County, Seep on west-facing hill bordering Linto lake, McKenzie Pass Area; (Abarca & al. 2023: 249, 250) Holotype: E.F. Stoermer; ANSP; GC 64161 (Index Nominum Algarum)
