Type locality: Norderney, East Frisian Islands, Germany (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 739). Lectotype: (Bliding 1963: fig. 17g). Notes: Bliding (1963, fig. 17g) illustrates the lectotype.

Participle A (Latin), twisted (Stearn 1973).
