Lectotype locality: Tanah-Djampeah, Flores Sea, Indonesia; (Silva & al. 1996: 865) Lectotype (fide Colinvaux, 1968: 32): (Index Nominum Algarum) Notes: Silva et al. recommend consulting Colinvaux (1968: 32) for further information regarding the type locality of this species.
