This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Asterochloris glomerata (Warén) Skaloud & Peksa.

Notes: Source: Indiana Culture Collection No. 1712, 1713. Isolator: Hutchinson from Cladonia squamosa as Trebouxia glomerata (Warén) Ahmadjian (1712); Hutchinson from Stereocaulon dactylophyllum var. occidentale as Trebouxia glomerata (Warén) Ahmadjian (1713).
