General Environment
This is a marine species.
Habitat
From permanent tide pools and from just below the lowest tide levels down to depths of 17 m; usually epiphytic on algae such as Gelidium australe and Melanema dumosa or on the seagrass Amphibolis, but occasionally grow directly on jetty pilings (Kraft 1978: 547).
