Type locality: Hillesöy, Smalöy, Norway; (Athanasiadis 1996: 25) Type: on Sertularia; GB; Notes: Athansiadis (2016: 90) gives Jaasund's original illustration as "holotyp" suggesting that the original material has been list.

Adjective (Latin), growing on the animal genus Sertularia, a hydroid.
