General Environment
This is a marine species.

Description
Cells elliptical in shape, photosynthetic with brown chloroplasts, 44-65 µm in length, 23-36 µm in width. Epitheca conical with an apical pore. Cingulum making a strong left-handed spiral. Plate formula: Po, 3', 1a, 6", 5c, 4s, 5"', 1"". Hypotheca conical with one antapical plate.
