Type locality: Vimport, Landes, France; (Woelkerling 1998: 304) Holotype: PC; unnumbered, General Herbarium box collection (fossil; filed in non-geniculate coralline type collections cabinet under basionym), includes three unnumbered slides (Woelkerling 1998: 304) Notes: Part of Holotype also in TRH (A4-173), unnumbered, includes one unnumbered slide. Lemoine usually used the incorrect spelling 'Vinport' in publication.
