Type locality: Tearia, Tuamotou Archipelago (Woelkerling 1998: 349). Holotype: Seurat; date not indicated; no habitat data on type. PC no. 10, General Herbarium box collection (non-fossil; filed in non-geniculate coralline type collections cabinet under basionym) (Woelkerling 1998: 349). Notes: Also TRH C16-3295, Hariot no. 10, includes slides 1415 and 1449 (Woelkering et al. 2005: 461).
