Taylor 46-591; 17 July 1946; Growing in shallow water over deep sand, on the lagoon-side reef, with very notable "root" common; MICH; (Hillis-Colinvaux 1980: 101) Notes: Isotypes: Rongelap and Eniwetok, Marshall Islands (Verbruggen et al., 2005: 621).
