Type locality: southern Australia (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 313). Type: LD, Herb. Agardh (Womersley 1994: 400). Notes: According to Womersley (1994: 400) 28531 is labelled ‘type’ but is cystocarpic, whereas J. Agardh referred to sessile nemathecia only.
