Type locality: France: Aquitaine (department no. 40: Landes), near Etang Hardy (43º43'08.60"N, 01º22'19.42"W); (Neustupa, St'astný & Skaloud 2014: 406) Holotype: Neustupa K608; 24 May 2011; oligotrophic peaty pools, alt. 35 m; PRC; living strain CAUP K608 (Neustupa, St'astný & Skaloud 2014: 406, figs 1A-E, 2A-B) Notes: Sequences FR852604 (18S rDNA) and FR691070 (trnGucc intron) from type material.
