Type locality: Sweden: Sabysjon, Uppland; (Index Nominum Algarum) Lectotype: Skuja 1948, pl. 22, fig. 19 i: (Lukomska-Kowalczyk et al. 2021: 773) Notes: Lukomska-Kowalczyk et al. (2021: 773) note that the lectotype indicated by Tiemer et al. 2006: 735 is invalid because the typification statement does not include the phrase "designated here".
