General Environment
This is a marine species.
Habitat
From just above the extreme low-water mark on the vertical rock of strongly surf-beaten coasts down to 5 m depths on rock under overhangs; one specimen epiphytic on Laurencia elata (Kraft 1978: 563). Known mainly from uppermost sublittoral rock on rough-water coasts (Kraft & Womersley 1994: 466).
