This is a marine species.

Description
Fleshy dark red ± flattened fronds, irregularly ovate-lanceolate, simple or branched, to 20 mm high and 3 mm broad. One-several fronds with cylindrical stipes to 5 mm long arise from small fleshy disc. Irregular branched coralloid processes frequent on fronds, readily detached and possibly capable of serving for vegetative propogation.

Habitat
In cracks and crevices, lower intertidal and subtidal, southern and western coasts, probably widespread, but overlooked.
