Type locality: Japan; (Dawson 1961: 241) Type: Okamura, 1909: pl. 56, fig. 1 (epitype) (Yoshida 1998: 745) Notes: In Dawson 1961, Type: Syntypes are in Okamura Herbarium, Hokkaido University, Saporo, Japan. Type Locality: Not specifically designated. Syntypes are from provinces of Kli, Mikawa, Sagami, Bosyu, Kadzuma and Iwaki, Japan. Yamagishi & Masuda (1997: 151) give the following data: Type locality: Pacific coast of central Japan from Yotsukura, Fukushima Prefecture, to Owase, Mie Prefecture; Holotype specimen: Not in SAP; one of Okamura's illustrations (1909, pl. 56, fig. 1) is designated as the lectotype
