This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Palisada corallopsis (Montagne) Sentíes, Fujii & Díaz-Larrea.

Type locality: La Habana, Cuba; (Silva & al. 1996: 506) Type: PC; Notes: Nam (1999: 463) records the type specimen of this species as being in Herb. Montagne in Paris (citing Yamada, 1931: 198).
