Won; 31 October 2004; Epiphytic and co-occurring with C. codii on Hypnea spinella, in the drift; LAF; 31. 10.2004-1-2(TC999-2) (Cho, T.O. & Fredericq 2006: 496) Notes: Holotype: tetrasporophyte. Isotypes: LAF-31.12.2004-1-2, tetrasporophytes, male gametophytes and vegetative thalli.
Origin of Species Name
Adjective (Latin), creeping, prostrate and rooting; arching and then rooting (Stearn 1973).
