Type locality: "Scrobiculos aqua dulci pluviali repletos, lapides obducens, infra monticulum "Causu-mic" dictum, prope pagum Hagighiol Romaniae austroorientalis. Legi mense Jul. a. 1897." [Romania]; (Teodoresco 1901: 760) Notes: "Un exemplaire d'herbier de cette plante sera déposé au Musée I. R. d'histoire naturelle de Vienne." Type material depicted in fig. 1 p-v in Bohunická et al., 2015.
